Eight Grade 5 children from across the grade attended a Maths enrichment day at SACS junior school last Friday. The children had a lovely time solving puzzles and interacting with children from other schools.Biyun was part of the overall winning team of the day. Well done to all who took part.

The children had a fabulous day learning about ostriches, riding and feeding them and making movies in the magical gardens there. A highlight was meeting Tom Thumb -the smallest ostrich in the world.

The buzz was evident in the Rainbird class this morning as they embarked on a mission to show their talents as Architects. They had to design and build a pyramid and place it in a scene of Ancient Egypt. It was wonderful to see their creativity emerge as they incorporated all their knowledge on Ancient Egypt into creating superb projects.
