Day 2 at camp

With all the excitement we had SOME sleep last night and were rearing to go this morning.  The children went on a hike this morning and learnt about snakes which was appealing to some but maybe not to others. This was accompanied by a little snake prank by a few boys which caused them to errupt with laugher when Mrs Raubie fell for the trick.  It is a beautiful day and everyone, teachers included, are making good use of the cool Breede River water and working up their appetite for lunch.  What better way to enjoy our friends and have fun?  Mr Raven has been great entertainment as he has performed somersaults on the leap of faith. Now they are trying to persuade the other teachers to do the leap of faith!

Hi from High Africa

We have had an active and adventurous day, filled with lots of fun in the sun.

There have been various activities from raft building, swimming, puzzle problem solving to the leap of faith. The children are having a wonderful time and they are looking forward to the night walk when we will be going star gazing.  The fire is burning ready for our braai tonight.
